Platform overview
Vertex is a hybrid VTOL aircraft in development. It is intended to take off vertically, transition to fixed-wing cruise, and carry small payloads for medical logistics and field operations.
Current status
V1 exposed problems with layout, propulsion integration, wiring, manufacturing, and service access. V2 addresses those issues with confirmed hardware, cleaner routing, better cooling, and safer test procedures.
Current development
V2 work covers confirmed hardware, maintainable packaging, and staged ground tests before flight-readiness work begins.
Development work · July 2026
Propulsion, power, flight-control, and support hardware are being confirmed before the final airframe layout.
Lessons from V1 are guiding changes to packaging, cable routing, component access, and manufacturing.
Ground tests will cover propulsion, power, controls, and structure before flight-readiness work begins.
Prototype & design lessons
V1 was an integration and manufacturing prototype. It exposed the layout, service, and test changes needed for V2.
Funding Vertex V2
Donations pay for hardware, propulsion components, electronics, airframe materials, payload-bay work, telemetry, test equipment, and replacement parts.
